The SONAR-410 FTS-Flex ST is a probe specifically designed for vertical tanks (VTS) and console applications.
When measuring the liquid level, the principle is used, which is based on pulsed ultrasonic echolocation. The ultrasonic probe is based on a block of sensors made of stainless corrugated tube with two piezo sensors (level measurement and distance measurement to the bottom) and a set of sound guide modules (2 m long – up to 5 inclusive), providing measurement of the liquid level in a tank up to 12 m. The special design allows the umbrella to be bent in any direction, which allows it to be compactly packed to reduce transportation costs. The probe has a very simple design for installation. It is supplied complete with a density calculator (software option).
